Terry Clemson of the TT's visited the Ross Revenge on 27th August. Here are some of his photos. Stormy weather, but the sun shines on the Ross Revenge. |

Sponsorship is an important part of keeping Radio Caroline afloat. Our thanks to ASDA and all the other sponsors who helped with the 2004 broadcasts from the Ross Revenge. |

Jan on a mobile phone, on deck. He said it was the only place he could get a signal, but maybe he was banished because of his 'personal problem'! |

Roy in studio 2, checking the emails. Some of the original cartridge machines, the mixer and record decks can be seen here. |

Here is some of the original equipment racks. |

Terry has been interested in Offshore Radio since the sixties, when he was a
member of the Downliners Sect. In those days, the BBC was the only land-based
radio station in the UK, and bands like the Downliners Sect received very
little airplay. The pirate ships, and especially Radio Caroline, were
instrumental in starting the 'Beat Boom' of the mid-sixties. Visit the TT's_Website for loads of nostalgia. |
