On Friday 30th December, the special guest was Rockin' Jan. Although Jan has been a valued assistant to Dell most weeks, this was his last regular visit, as the show will move to Tuesdays from next week.

On Friday 16th December, unfortunately Big Jim Sullivan was unable to visit us as advertised. We hope he will be able to come to Radio Caroline sometime soon.

Craig Douglas was on the show on Friday 9th December. Craig talked to us about his life in the music business, and Dell played those classic recordings he made, like "Only Sixteen", "Pretty Blue Eyes", "Time", "When My Little Girl Is Smiling" and many more.
Yet again, Robin and Norma (0018) and Steve Foster (0081) each sponsored part of the show, Thanks Guys !!

The show on Friday 2nd December featured tracks with the word Baby in the title, many of them suggested by listeners.
Club member Ray Davies (membership 0023) sponsored part of this show. Although Ray could not be in the studio, he sent us his 10 favourite tracks to start the show! Thanks Ray!

Friday 25th November was a Listeners Request Night.
Neil Christian had to cancel his appearance on this show for health reasons. We hope he will be able to come in soon, in the mean-time, Get Well Soon, Neil

On Friday 18th November we had most of Jack Rabbit Slim in the studio. Bob Butfoy, Nick Linton Smith and Tom Hayes came in to promote their new CD "Sin - Uendo". All have them have a pedigree in other well-known bands, and a lot of you will Bob from "Bob & The Bearcats".

On Friday 11th November we had not one, but two legends on the show!!
Jet Harris, former Shadows bass player, and Billie Davis, who had hits such as "Tell Him" and "He's The One". Jet and Billie chatted about the old days, and the projects they are involved with today.

On Friday 4th November we had Ritchie Gee who runs the successful Wildest Cats In Town Weekend, along with the legendary "Tennessee Club" that has been running for years! Ritchie brought along his sidekick Frank Lacey, and they played tracks from their favourite bands, and talk to us about their busy lifestyle.

On Friday 28th October we had another NEO-ROCKABILLY SPECIAL, featuring bands like Restless, the Blue Cats, Batmobile, the Stray Cats, Hot Boogie Chillun, the Go-Getters, the Razorbacks and many more.

On Friday 21st October we had Charlie Thompson in the studio. Charlie has a rare talent for being a hillbilly yodeller, along with a voice that reminds you of Slim Whitman. Charlie brought his guitar for some "live" music, and also played some of his favourite CD tracks by other artists! Jerry Chatabox and Miss Mary Anne also popped in, and Charlie and Miss Mary Anne did some fine duets. Charlie came to Radio Caroline back in November 2000 when he was with the Blue Star Boys.

On Friday 14th October we had Marcus Sullivan (club member 101) in the studio. The theme of our show was "Out Of This World", and we played tracks about Rockets, Aliens, Satellites, Flying Saucers, Martians, Little Green Monsters etc......

On Friday 7th October we had The Flames in the studio. They played some tracks from their new CD "Highly Flammable", and gave some as prizes for lucky listeners. They also picked a few tracks by other artists that have influenced them over the years. The Flames are Jeff Tuck, Tony Casey, John Burleigh and Jeff Jeffrey.

On Friday 30th September we had the original Matchbox playing "live" in the studio. Graham Fenton, Steve Bloomfield, Gordon Scott and Freddie Poke came in to give us a fantastic live set. Jimmie Redhead (drums) was unfortunately delayed by traffic, and didn't arrive until near the end of the show, but Dell improvised some percussion !! The lads came in to play for us on their way to a gig in Holland the next day. What a night!! Click Here for some photos.

On Friday 23rd September we had another visit from Mr.Piers Chalmers. Piers brought more from his selection of "rare" rockers.

On Friday 16th September we had a double bill, with Jess Conrad, The Golden Boy Of The Sixties, and also Dave Lodge.

Jess played his songs, promoted his latest CD, and chatted about his life. He was recently a big sensation at the London Palladium Hal Carter Memorial gig on July 11th, when he came on stage in an outrageous pink suit !!

Dave is Tommy Bruce's manager, and a good friend of Jess. He also has a close association with Billie Davis, Craig Douglas, Norman Wisdom and the late Heinz. Dave came down with his wife Margaret and played their favourite selection of tracks, and they also sponsored the whole show !!

On Friday 9th September we had Roger & Paree from the Teddyboys Reunited Website. They brought a selection of their favourite tracks and talked about their website, and events they organise.

On Friday 2nd September we had D.J. Steve's Stack-o-Wax. Steve travelled up from Bournemouth in Dorset to play his favourite selection of tracks and chat about his life as a club rock'n'roll D.J.

Steve Willis returned to Radio Caroline on Friday 26th August, and played another selection from his vast collection. Steve runs a collectors record shop called Rollin' Records in Station Road, West Wickham in Kent.
Steve also sponsored the whole show, Thanks Steve !!

On Friday 19th August we had Mal Gray. Mal is best known for being the lead singer of the Wild Angels at one time, and the only English member of Sha-Na-Na. He's worked with all the greats, such as Fats Domino, BB King, Gene Vincent and Chuck Berry. Mal was promoting his latest CD called "Louisiana Angel".

On Friday 12th August we welcomed Mark & Linda Wilsmore who run the famous ACE CAFE in London. They brought their favourite selection of tracks, and they also talked about how they started the Ace Cafe reunion, which takes place every year in Brighton, attended by thousands of bikers. The next one is on Sunday 11th September 2005.

On Friday 5th August we had a Hillbilly Bop & Western Swing Special and also played retro groups of today playing in that style.
And to celebrate Dell's birthday on the 6th, we had a Mammoth GRT Club Members Draw with 5 fantastic prizes!!

On Friday 29th July we had Rockin' Ricky with his wife Hilary, and their mate Pete, for their second visit to Radio Caroline. Ricky played his selection of favourite records. Ricky is also appearing on Volume 2 of the Joe Meek series of CD's on Western Star Records, covering the song "Angela Jones".

On Friday 22nd July we had have Ray Fenwick and Tony Kenward. Ray is a legendary guitarist who played with James Burton, and was also a member of the Spencer Davis Group. Tony is the front-man of Tony & The Saints. Ray and Tony have worked together on a CD called "Rockin' Through The Years". They played some of their favourite tracks, and chatted about their lives.

On Friday 15th July we had Mick Lewis of the rockabilly band Whirlwind. The band started life in 1976 and were signed up by Ted Carroll at Chiswick Records. They released a total of seven singles and five albums. Sadly, two of the four band members have died over the years. Mick told us the "Whirlwind" story, and played some of their tracks.

On Friday 8th July we had club members Tony & Sharon Rogers (108) and their son Danny who is eleven years old. They played their favourite rock'n'roll tracks, and also sponsored the whole show, AND provide a competition prize. What lovely people !!

The programme on 1st April was cut short by a major power cut in the Maidstone area. Our guests that night, Alan & Wendy Titley (membership number 100) came back on 1st July to Radio Caroline, to finish off the show !! They played a good selection of rockers.

On Friday 24th June we had Peter Williams (club member 114) and his wife Sonja in the studio. Peter has been featured most weeks on the show with his brilliant guitar instrumentals. He has four CD's out at the moment, entitled "Sunday Night Inn", "Memories", "Instrumentally Elvis" and "Billy Fury Always Remembered". We played some tracks from these, and chatted about his life and played some of his favourite tracks by other artists. Peter also donated several CD's as prizes. Nice Man !!
The wonderful Robin and Norma sponsored part of the show. Thanks Guys!!

On Friday 17th June we had Tony Barrett of Rockstar Records. Tony told us the Rockstar story, and played his favourite rockers through the years. Tony also generously donated several Rockstar DVD's and CD's as prizes !! Thanks Tony.

On Friday 10th June we had London rockabilly DJ Jerry Chattabox with his partner Miss Mary Anne. Jerry talked about his "sell out" Rockabilly Rave weekend and played some interesting tracks for the listeners.

27th May was a wild night, with club members Darren, Carl, Louise and Eirwyn from Rhyl, North Wales, in the studio. They are big Rockabilly fans, and they brought along a great selection of tracks from mainly modern bands. And, they also sponsored the whole show, Thanks Guys

On Friday 20th May we had John Leyton with us. Apart from his hits like "Johnny Remember Me" & "Wild Wind", he also starred in cinema blockbusters such as "The Great Escape" and "Von Ryans Express". John talked about his career, and played some of his favourite songs.

Sadly, this was the last of his regular shows. John is being forced to take life easier, for health reasons, but he has promised to come back as a guest occasionally. John Fisher was with us on Friday 15th April 2005, and his whole show was sponsored by Terry & Elizabeth Aldridge. Thanks folks!!
It was intended to broadcast the show from the studios of the Ross Revenge in Tilbury Docks, but when Dell arrived at the ship, he was told that because of technical problems, he would have to go to the Maidstone studios, 40 miles away. He arrived only 5 minutes before he went on-air !!

On Friday 25th February 2005 was the Fifth Anniversary of Dell's first programme on Radio Caroline.
Wee Willie Harris was Dell's special guest, with his wife Sheila. Willie was his first guest when Good Rockin' Tonight was on CMR, and also one of his first guests when he started on Radio Caroline, and Willie been a good friend of the programme ever since. They played a selection of artists that have influenced Willie through the years.
Gerd Stassen and Gary Neale each sponsored part of the show. Gerd is club member 0003, one of our most devoted listeners, and Gary's grandfather used to live next door to Willie in the 1940's. Thanks Guys !!
